• Must be able to perform the physical duties of EVS work.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness, safety and sanitation of casino and public areas.
• Leads, trains and supervises EVS attendants and shifts.
• Maintains shift logs and reports; communicates issues to operations.
• Ensures safety protocols are followed by the team.
• Coordinates with other departments for service needs.
• Provides excellent internal and external guest services.
• Maintains relationships with staff and regulatory compliance where applicable.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to become an EVS Team Lead. An individual could be successful if they possess the following.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains the cleanliness, safety and sanitation of the Casino and public areas
• Conducts daily tours of all areas to ensure that EVS attendants are completing work as assigned and meeting OJC standards and Core Values
• Maintains shift log or report, communicating any irregularities necessary for successful operations of other shifts
• Knows safe work habits and ensures that team is following safety protocols
• Responds to cleaning or grounds keeping requests from other departments
• Identifies and communicates cleaning supplies and equipment needs to EVS Manager
• Assures prompt, courteous service to all guests, internal and external
• Hires, trains and develops EVS attendants, schedules work areas and follows up
• Provides leadership and assistance to EVS Team
• Provides excellent internal and external guest services, treating internal and external guests with courtesy and consideration at all times
• Cooperates and communicates with all fellow team members, always exhibiting mutual respect and consistently projecting a positive, helpful image/attitude
• Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance
• Performs all duties in accordance with company core values, internal policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations
• Makes efforts to keep informed of company information and communications by reviewing property bulletin boards, digital signage, and company newsletter
• Effectively communicates concerns and information to supervisor and listens to communication from supervisor
• Effectively relates ideas for improvements to supervisor and management in accordance with chain of command
• Observes and reports any and all unsafe behavior displayed by internal and external guests
• Maintains an attitude & philosophy consistent with the company Core Values and Standards of Behavior with internal & external guests
• Ability to use equipment associated with position; including but not limited to the use of vacuum cleaners, mops, brooms and floor machines

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provides coaching and counseling to team members

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to read and communicate verbally in English
• Written communication skills in in English may also be required
