Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of housekeeping, laundry, and linen tasks, requiring strong supervisory skills.
• Effectively supervise a staff of 25 or more employees.
• Provide leadership, direction, and equity in dealing with all employees.
• Create effective working relationships with department staff, hospital staff, and the public.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for sanitation for patients, guests, and employees.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas to project a positive image.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with infection control and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate rental linen and uniform efforts.
• Provide multidisciplinary support services.
• Participate in employee awareness and education initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience in a hospital setting.
• Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements (preferred).
