Job summary

Seven Feathers in Canyonville, Oregon, is seeking an Environmental Services Supervisor to lead daily cleaning operations on the gaming floor and public areas. You will schedule, supervise staff, ensure quality, and partner with department managers to set standards.

Responsibilities include planning daily work, inspecting work quality, managing supplies, and adapting schedules as events arise. Minimum 1–3 years EVS experience with supervisory exposure and ability to obtain a gaming license.

Qualifications

• 1 -3 years of EVS custodial/cleaning experience.
• 1 year experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Plans daily work schedules and assigns tasks, adjusting for events and resort needs.
• Acts as a Working supervisor on the gaming floor when needed.
• Maintains schedule flexibility and adapts to changes at short notice.
• Inspects cleaning work and monitors quality across sections.
• Orders and monitors supplies in collaboration with the Department Manager.

The Position

Facilitates EVS operations to ensure that the premises are clean and orderly at all times. Scheduling, assigning and directly overseeing staff engaged in providing cleaning services, and assuring quality by checking the work and helping set and monitor standards in cooperation with department managers. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Plans daily work schedules and assignments adjust schedules by looking at events that are coming up giving adequate notice to fellow team members based on availability and resort needs, large events, or slow times.
• You are considered a (Working supervisor) at times working the gaming floor.
• Working closely on adapting and have the willingness to be flexible to be able to change, or adjust schedules in a moment’s notice.
• Inspects the work and monitor sections, check all outlets for coverage and consistency of quality.
• Orders supplies, Issue supplies, monitors all levels of supplies and collaborates with the Department Manager on appropriate and safe usages.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
• 1 -3 years of (EVS) custodial/cleaning experience required with 1 year experience in a supervisory or lead role.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
• Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.
