Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Full-time Environmental Services worker at AMC Sheboygan County to maintain clean and safe patient areas, restrooms, lobbies, and offices. You will help ensure infection-control standards across surfaces and equipment.

The role requires the second shift (2:30pm–11pm), every other weekend, and rotating holidays. No formal education is required; experience not required. Strong customer service and ability to follow written and verbal instructions are essential.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators and stairwells.
• Cleans surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors, furniture and windows; assists with spills.
• Dusts and damp mops floors in patient areas, halls and restrooms.
• Replaces cubicle/window coverings and distributes non-medical supplies.
• Sorts, stocks, and transports linens and manages trash and medical waste per guidelines.
• Inventory and replenish cleaning supplies; keep closets organized.
• Report mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
