Job summary

MountainView Hospital is seeking an EVS Shift Supervisor to lead cleaning operations across the facility and uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local requirements and work with the Director and Operations Manager to maintain a safe, healthy environment.

You will schedule and supervise 15–20 FTEs, interview candidates for open positions, and post departmental work schedules while supporting cross-department

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of six (6) months experience in a housekeeping department, in a health-related facility.
• 2 years Supervisor experience in a health-related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct personnel engaged in maintaining assigned areas of the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local requirements and as directed by the Director and Operations Manager, to ensure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times
• Complete all work schedules for the area and directly supervise 15 – 20 FTE’s
• Interview candidates for available positions in the department and will be responsible for creating and posting departmental work schedules
• Maintain productivity of the assigned unit to meet the hospital and corporate financial goals and to ensure adherence to policy and procedures, and will also assist, when necessary, his/her peer’s department and area of responsibility
