Qualifications

• Experience in operations, facilities, or service management within a healthcare or regulated environment required.
• Healthcare Environmental Services (EVS) experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contract-based service delivery and client relationships.
• Experience working in unionized environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of SLAs, performance management, and operational KPIs.
• Working knowledge of healthcare compliance standards, safety practices, and infection prevention protocols.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training of service personnel to meet contract and client expectations.
• Manage On-Site Supervisors and frontline staff, providing coaching and development.
• Establish performance standards aligned with contract requirements and hospital protocols.
• Address performance issues, partnering with HR for corrective actions.
• Oversee labor relations, including grievance handling and union agreements.
• Oversee workforce scheduling, time-off approvals, and staffing levels.
• Administer progressive discipline per policy and labor agreements.
• Drive contract performance and service expansion initiatives.
• Monitor operational and financial performance of accounts and take corrective actions.
• Identify opportunities for service enhancements and efficiencies within contracts.
• Lead special projects and coordinate with client leadership.
• Serve as primary client liaison and conduct regular site visits and reviews.
• Respond to service requests with urgency to minimize impact on patient care.
• Support contract renewals and service modifications with leadership.
