Yona is seeking a Manager in Training to learn the overall operation of the housekeeping and laundry department in a skilled nursing facility.

You will coordinate activities, supervise staff, and ensure the environment is clean, safe, and survey-ready while complying with standards of care and regulatory guidelines.

Competenze

• Four year college degree and related experience strongly desired; high school diploma/GED required.
• Two years experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Skilled in motivating and supervising staff.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet goals.
• Public speaking skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Ability to interact positively with residents, clients and staff; work all shifts.

Mansioni

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises department functions.
• Maintains sanitary, attractive and orderly environment.
• Forecasts and purchases cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Plans staffing schedules to ensure adequate services and staffing levels.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, income/expense, and personnel.
• Conducts management staff meetings and coordinates with other departments.

• Maintains survey-ready department within regulations.
