Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a 2nd Shift Environmental Services (EVS) Manager. You will oversee EVS associates, coordinate with the Unit Director, and ensure high service levels across hospital departments.

Key requirements include strong leadership, customer service mindset, and excellent communication. Bilingual English/Spanish and training experience are a plus; vaccination against COVID-19 is required where permitted.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination required for employment, with legal exceptions noted.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• EVS healthcare management experience required; management experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus; training experience is a plus.
• Strong service and quality attitude; excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection; interview candidates and schedule time off.
• Assign personnel to work areas or duties.
• Conduct quality assurance checks and manage materials inventory.
• Ensure proper orientation, training, and ongoing education for staff.
• Provide guidance and motivation to staff to reach potential.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment.
