Job summary

Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a 2nd Shift Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to lead the Environmental Services team under the oversight of the Unit Director. The role focuses on directing staffing, ensuring quality, training staff, and maintaining a clean, safe hospital environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, a customer-service mindset, and preferably EVS healthcare management experience, with bilingual abilities (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities

• Participate in staff selection and scheduling.
• Assign personnel to areas and projects.
• Conduct quality checks and manage inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff training and orientation, provide guidance and motivation.
• Handle disciplinary actions as needed and report to Department Director.
• Maintain sanitary, orderly environment and promote Xanitos culture.
