Valleywise Health Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a 2nd Shift EVS Manager to oversee Environmental Services staff and coordinate with the Unit Director. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety, and patient satisfaction across shifts.

The role emphasizes staff development, disciplinary processes, and maintaining a sanitary, orderly environment while upholding Xanitos’ culture and quality leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in healthcare or large facilities.
• Customer service mindset with a focus on quality and safety.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Training/new hire onboarding experience is a plus.
• Strong service/quality attitude and communication skills.
• Proficient in Windows-based office software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide Environmental Services team to meet service standards.
• Coordinate staffing: scheduling, holidays, and vacations.
• Perform quality checks and manage inventory and equipment usage.
• Ensure staff orientation, training, and ongoing education.
• Provide motivation and coaching; discipline when needed.
• Maintain sanitary, attractive, and orderly environments.
• Promote Xanitos culture and management philosophy.
