Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician to promote environmental safety in medical facilities. The role supports housekeeping duties across the department, ensuring cleanliness and patient safety through disciplined inspections and procedures.

The successful candidate will work a 11pm–7:30am shift with weekend rotation, and will be eligible for comprehensive benefits and retirement plans offered by Atrium Health.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar job.
• Capable of working independently.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions and complete written forms.
• Patient Population Served: demonstrates knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient population.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily staff duties and assignments in the department to ensure standards are met.
• Evaluates conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality control measures.
• Coordinates staff training in proper use of chemicals, equipment processes, and safety issues.
