Job summary
Atrium Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician at 11906 Atrium Health Lake Norman - Environmental Services. This role helps protect patients and staff by keeping facilities clean and safe.
The position involves thorough cleaning, waste management, and maintaining equipment, with shift 0700-1530, Monday to Friday, every other weekend. Training and safety programs are provided, along with comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred or equivalent.
- One year experience preferred.
- Ability to prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
- Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, and removing waste.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures; clean and refinish floors.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets; restock restrooms; replace light bulbs.
- Report repairs and maintenance needs to staff.
- Maintain safety and infection control standards; attend required trainings.
- Meet time schedules and deadlines consistently.
