Job summary

Atrium Health University City is seeking a part-time Environmental Services Technician to maintain clean, safe facilities in a healthcare environment. The role involves extensive cleaning tasks indoors with some outdoor work, using cleaning chemicals, and reporting repairs.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Preferred: One year experience
• Can prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner
• Can operate equipment
• Can establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing furniture, mirrors and fixtures
• Washes windows, walls, ceilings, vents and light fixtures
• Sweeps, scrubs and refinishes floors; vacuuming and shampooing carpet
• Re-stocks restrooms and replaces light bulbs
• Reports repairs and keeps equipment clean and orderly
