Job summary

Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Lead to drive cleanliness, safety, and patient experience. You will lead EVS staff, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with infection control and sanitation standards in a clinical setting.

Hours are 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm with weekend and holiday rotation. A CHEST-certified professional with at least 3 years of related experience is preferred; a GED is acceptable, with CHEST completion within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years related work experience required.
• CHEST certification within 18 months.
• GED preferred; high school diploma acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule breaks and daily staffing using the staff schedule.
• Mentor and empower staff; promote teamwork.
• Ensure all EVS areas are clean, safe, and orderly.
• Monitor bed tracking and inventory of EVS supplies.
• Oversee infection control and safety practices.
