Job summary

Episcopal SeniorLife Communities is seeking a Laundry Crew Leader to supervise laundry staff and manage daily operations. This part-time role supports the department during a 4-5 hour shift on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with a biweekly schedule and an $18.00 per hour pay rate.

The incumbent will monitor tasks, ensure cleaning standards, train staff, and handle supply needs while maintaining resident respect and safety in a senior living setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to receive and give oral and written directions.
• May provide direct care or access to resident property or belongings.
• Interact courteously and tactfully with staff, residents, families and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Monitor completion of daily work assignments for housekeeping staff.
• Inspect building cleanliness and address problem areas.
• Notify director of supply and equipment needs.
• Vacuum all carpeted areas.
• Mop all tile and LVT areas.
• Empty waste baskets and maintain public areas.
• Properly dilute and use chemicals per procedures.
• Wear gloves and report hazards or malfunctions.
• Assist with apartment cleaning/ turnover duties as needed.
• Train and develop new and incumbent staff vendors.
