Job summary

OMHC is hiring for EVS Services - Laundry/Housekeeping in a hospital setting. This full-time role focuses on keeping facilities clean, safe and comfortable, following the supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Manager.

Responsibilities include cleaning, laundry, linen processing, and restocking. Individuals must be able to read and understand English, and be capable of lifting up to 20 lbs and working around patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and understand verbal instruction in English.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all hospital areas including rooms, offices, lobbies, and corridors.
• Operate laundry equipment and restock linen supplies.
• Push, lift, or apply pressure up to 20 lbs for extended periods.
• Work closely with patients and staff while maintaining safety and infection control standards.
