Job summary

Forefront is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a healthcare setting. You will perform cleaning, disinfection, and laundry services while following infection prevention protocols.

This hourly, non-exempt role offers a pay rate of $15.50 per hour and a schedule designed for flexibility to support work-life balance; you will collaborate with the Supervisor and Manager to ensure efficient operations and high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing of patient/resident rooms, public areas, and workspaces according to organizational standards.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
• May perform laundry duties, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering linens and uniforms.
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols, including OSHA, CMS, and TJC standards.
• Assist in setting up rooms, moving furniture, and performing light maintenance as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the Supervisor.
• Document completed work and adhere to departmental checklists and quality standards.
• Participate in training, staff meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
