Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Bridgeton, MO is seeking an EVS/Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean and safe environment in patient rooms, lounges, hallways, and common areas on a PRN/as-needed basis from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

This role supports infection prevention and patient comfort, reporting unsafe conditions immediately. A High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, with prior housekeeping experience welcome, and a commitment to teamwork and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas, which may include patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators and lobby area.
• Assists in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or appropriate department.
• Replenishes supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.
