Job summary

Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Environmental Services Technician / Housekeeper. This full-time role offers hourly pay in the range of $17.00–$20.73 and includes a thorough orientation and comprehensive benefits.

You will contribute to a clean, safe patient environment across patient rooms, lounges, offices and common areas. Prior housekeeping experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience required.
• High School degree or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hospital EVS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in assigned areas, including patient rooms, offices, nurse’s stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchens, elevators and lobby.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment by reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Replenish supplies including soap, towels and toilet tissue, and other disposables.
