Job summary

The Professional Group (TPG) is seeking an Entry-Level Custodian for a Medical Facility. You will maintain a clean, safe environment across exam and procedure rooms, restrooms, and common areas. The role requires detail orientation and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical setting.

Shifts include one Saturday per month, with pay at $16.50 per hour, paid weekly. Eligibility for a $300 sign-on bonus and a $150 referral bonus is noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform physical tasks during shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of surgical and clinical areas, including procedure rooms, exam rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and hallways.
• Safely clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas according to healthcare protocols.
• Handle and properly dispose of regulated medical waste, including sharps containers and biohazard materials.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, sanitizing solutions, and PPE.
• Perform floor care tasks including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and spot cleaning.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste receptacles and transport to disposal areas.

The Entry-Level Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a Medical Facility. This role supports patient care by ensuring all areas—including exam rooms, procedure rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces—are cleaned to healthcare standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting.

Shifts Available: (Must work one Saturday per month)

• Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM-1:30 PM
• Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Monday-Friday | 7:00 PM-3:30 AM
• Monday-Friday | 10:00 PM-6:30 AM
• $16.50 per hour/ paid weekly
• $300 sign-on bonus
• $150 employee referral bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of surgical and clinical areas, including procedure rooms, exam rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and hallways.

Experience:

• Previous experience in healthcare cleaning, Environmental Services (EVS), or custodial/janitorial work.
• Experience working in surgical, medical, or clinical environments preferred but not required.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
