RadNet, Inc. is seeking an EVS Custodian to maintain a clean, safe medical facility environment. You will clean exam and procedure rooms, restrooms, and common areas to healthcare standards while supporting patient care.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical setting, with shifts that include weekends. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare cleaning, Environmental Services (EVS), or custodial/janitorial work.
• Experience working in surgical, medical, or clinical environments preferred.
• Must pass required background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of surgical and clinical areas, including exam rooms and restrooms.
• Disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas according to infection-control protocols.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and PPE.
• Handle and dispose of regulated medical waste including sharps containers.
• Perform floor care tasks such as mopping and vacuuming.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste receptacles and transport to disposal areas.

External Description

TheEVS Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within aMedical Facility. This role supports patient care by ensuring all areas—including exam rooms, procedure rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces—are cleaned to healthcare standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting.

Compensation:

• $16.00 per hour/ paid weekly

Shifts Available: (Must work one Saturday per month)

• Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Monday-Friday | 5:00 PM-11:00 PM
• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of surgical and clinical areas, including procedure rooms, exam rooms, pre‑op and recovery areas, offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and hallways.
• Safely clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high‑touch areas according to established healthcare and infection‑control protocols.
• Handle and properly dispose of regulated medical waste, including sharps containers and biohazard materials.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, sanitizing solutions, and PPE.
• Perform floor care tasks including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and spot cleaning.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste receptacles and transport to designated disposal areas.

Experience:

• Previous experience in healthcare cleaning, Environmental Services (EVS), or custodial/janitorial work.
• Experience working in surgical, medical, or clinical environments preferred.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass required background checks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
