The Professional Group is seeking an Entry-Level Custodian to maintain a clean, safe medical facility environment. Shifts include weekends and some Saturdays, with schedules such as early mornings or overnight hours to accommodate patient care areas.

The position offers competitive pay at $16.50 per hour, paid weekly, plus a robust benefits package including 401(k) with match, medical/dental/vision, disability, life insurance, EAP, paid holidays and PTO, as well as sign-on and referral bonuses

Responsabilidades

• Clean surgical and clinical areas, including exam rooms, restrooms, hallways, and waiting areas.
• Safely disinfect surfaces and equipment according to healthcare protocols.
• Handle and dispose of regulated medical waste properly.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, and PPE.
• Perform floor care: mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and spot cleaning.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste receptacles and transport to disposal areas.

External Description

The Entry-Level Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within a Medical Facility. This role supports patient care by ensuring all areas—including exam rooms, procedure rooms, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces—are cleaned to healthcare standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting.

Shifts Available: (Must work one Saturday per month)

• Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM–1:30 PM
• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Monday–Friday | 7:00 PM–3:30 AM
• Monday–Friday | 10:00 PM–6:30 AM
• $16.50 per hour/ paid weekly
• $300 sign-on bonus
• $150 employee referral bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and detailed cleaning of surgical and clinical areas, including procedure rooms, exam rooms, pre-op and recovery areas, offices, restrooms, waiting rooms, and hallways.
• Safely clean and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and high-touch areas according to established healthcare and infection-control protocols.
• Handle and properly dispose of regulated medical waste, including sharps containers and biohazard materials.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper products, sanitizing solutions, and PPE.
• Perform floor care tasks including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and spot cleaning.
• Empty trash and biomedical waste receptacles and transport to designated disposal areas.

Experience:

• Previous experience in healthcare cleaning, Environmental Services (EVS), or custodial/janitorial work.
• Experience working in surgical, medical, or clinical environments preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must pass required background checks.
