Monarch Black Hawk, Inc. is looking for an EVS Custodian to maintain superior cleanliness throughout our property. This full-time position requires experience in cleaning and the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job description

Job Title: EVS Custodian

Location: Monarch Casino Resort Spa, Black Hawk, Colorado.

Shift: Varies.

Salary: $20/hr.

Employment Type: Full-time.

Position summary: This role ensures superior cleanliness and sanitation throughout the property.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, offices, hallways, restaurants, escalators, elevators, casino general area.
• Sweep carpets.
• Empty ashtrays and urns.
• Polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum and polish elevators.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Dust and polish casino games.
• Remove trash collected by office team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of cleaning experience in the US required.
• Previous experience with cleaning machines.
• Previous experience with chemical cleaning materials and safety knowledge.
• Physical mobility, stamina, ability to stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and use hands continuously.
• Ability to push and pull up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 45 lbs.
• Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Successfully pass a pre‑employment criminal background check and drug screen.
• Professional attitude, detail‑oriented, ability to work independently and follow instructions.
