Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in Cincinnati is seeking a dedicated EVS/Environmental Services team member to clean restrooms, floors, windows, and public areas across the property.

You will operate cleaning equipment, follow department policies, maintain a professional appearance, respond to guest requests while upholding safety and confidentiality standards, and work as part of a cooperative team, with flexible shifts including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to guest service requirements.
• Adhere to department and property policies regarding guest service standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment (extractors, scrubbers, buffers, lifts).
• Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, countertops and toilets.
• Empty trash, sweep and mop floors.
• Remove snow for trash routes.
• Replace toilet tissue and refill dispensers.
• Clean and polish furniture, brass and entrance fixtures.
• Clean lighting, walls and carpeting; dust lampshades.
• Vacuum floors, clean windows and sanitize areas.
• Respond to guest requests or direct to the right person.
• Follow EVS Manual procedures and standards.
• Uniformed position; comply with appearance guidelines.
• Handle chemicals safely and maintain confidentiality of information.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor; perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

• Adhere to guest service requirement listed above
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
• Able to operate small cleaning equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
• Clean restrooms. mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets
• Empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks and counter tops as well as sweep and mop floors.
• Remove all trash to exterior trash points
• Remove snow for trash run
• Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
• Clean and polish all furniture, marble, brass, brass floor plates, and entrance door brass and kick door brass plates
• Clean brass, lighting, walls and carpeting
• Clean and dust all lighting and lampshades
• Vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges and clean team member restaurant floors, and sanitizes all guest and team member areas
• Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance
• Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty
• Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and propriatary information disclosed by a Belterra Park entity or by a guest of Belterra Park
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
• Perform other duties assigned by the department Manager, and Shift Supervisor on duty

Required Education and Work Experience:

• Must have (6) months years experience in the cleaning field
