Job summary

Belterra Park Cincinnati is seeking a motivated EVS team member to uphold high standards of cleanliness and guest service. You will operate cleaning equipment and sanitize guest and team areas while maintaining strict uniform and safety protocols.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of cleaning experience. The role requires flexibility in shifts and a professional, courteous demeanor throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certificate from Educational Institute.
• Must have (6) months years experience in the cleaning field.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to guest service requirements.
• Follow department and property policies for guest service standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts.
• Clean restrooms, mirrors, sinks, countertops, cigarette urns and toilets.
• Empty trash, sweep and mop floors, and remove trash to exterior points.
• Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers.
• Clean and polish furniture, brass surfaces, and entrance doors.
• Vacuum floors, clean windows, and sanitize guest and team member areas.
• Respond to guest requests or connect them with the appropriate person for assistance.
• Adhere to Belterra Park EVS Manual standards and procedures.
• Maintain uniformed appearance and comply with uniform standards.
• Know safe use of all equipment and chemicals.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by managers.

Job Description

• Adhere to guest service requirement listed above
• Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards
• Able to operate small cleaning equipments such as extractors, auto scrubbers, buffers and overhead lifts
• Clean restrooms. mirrors, sinks, counter tops, cigarette urns and toilets
• Empty trash bins and pick up loose papers from floors, sinks and counter tops as well as sweep and mop floors.
• Remove all trash to exterior trash points
• Remove snow for trash run
• Replace toilet tissue and refill paper towel dispensers
• Clean and polish all furniture, marble, brass, brass floor plates, and entrance door brass and kick door brass plates
• Clean brass, lighting, walls and carpeting
• Clean and dust all lighting and lampshades
• Vacuum flooring, clean windows, clean window ledges and clean team member restaurant floors, and sanitizes all guest and team member areas
• Respond to reasonable guest requests or place guest in contact with appropriate person for assistance
• Adhere to standards and operating procedures as outlined in the Belterra Park EVS Manual.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires the team member be in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty
• Be familiar with and ensure safe and proper use of all equipment and chemicals.
• Must maintain the strictest confidence of any and all confidential and propriatary information disclosed by a Belterra Park entity or by a guest of Belterra Park
• Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and image of self.
• Perform other duties assigned by the department Manager, and Shift Supervisor on duty
