Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks a Bench EVS Assistant Director in San Leandro, CA to oversee EVS operations across Bay Area sites. You will lead supervision staff, ensure Joint Commission compliance, and staff scheduling within budget constraints.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service focus, and excellent communication. You will coordinate with departments and may serve on facility committees while driving sanitation and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-4 years of management experience in EVS or a service-related field with high customer/client contact.
• EVS healthcare management experience is required.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Establish and annually review EVS standards and procedures.
• Plan work schedules, interview/hire/evaluate staff per facility standards.
• Inspect facility condition and coordinate repairs or furnishings.
• Provide monthly progress reports on short-term accomplishments and staff education.
• Coordinate external EVS services (pest control, waste, recycling).
• Discipline associates as needed per progressive discipline guidelines.
• Maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
