Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. seeks a 2nd shift EVS Assistant Director in Anaheim, CA to oversee the EVS department's daily operations, coordinate supervisory staff, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission guidelines. You will act as liaison with clients when the Unit Director is unavailable and manage staff scheduling within budget constraints.

The role requires strong leadership, customer service orientation, and experience in training staff. Four-year degree and supervisory EVS experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and annually review standards and work procedures for all EVS staff in accordance with facility policies.
• Plan work schedules and job duties; interview, hire, evaluate and terminate EVS personnel.
• Regularly inspect facility conditions and recommend repairs or furnishings.
• Provide monthly administrative progress reports on short-term accomplishments and staff training.
• Supervise relocation of furnishings/equipment and optimize space for sanitation.
• Report unsafe conditions and research EVS technology improvements.
• Coordinate EVS activities with other departments and participate in facility committees.
• Schedule major projects and manage staffing and supplies within budget.
• Maintain sanitary, attractive, and orderly facilities.
• Demonstrate Xanitos culture and management philosophy.
