Arch Insurance Group Inc. seeks an experienced insurance leader to provide strategic direction and management for the Surety Underwriting Group. This role develops underwriting strategies, achieves business unit objectives, and partners with internal and external stakeholders.

It can be performed from any location near an Arch Insurance office. The role requires 15–20+ years in underwriting, strong leadership, and the ability to travel up to 35% across North America.

• 15–20+ years of insurance underwriting experience across home office and field environments.
• Experience leading high‑performing cross‑functional teams.
• Talent development, including mentoring, coaching, and leadership development.
• Ability to align strategy with day‑to‑day operations to achieve business objectives.
• Willingness and ability to travel across North America for account and marketing visits.
• Ability to travel up to 35%.
