Job summary

Astrion seeks an Earned Value Management (EVM) Subject Matter Expert to support the USAF SAOC program, located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The role requires an active Secret clearance and will lead EVM activities across the program, including data analysis, dashboards, and audit readiness.

The EVM SME will coordinate with program teams, review EVM data and baselines, and provide actionable insights to leadership. Strong communication, governance, and EVMS knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience communicating and presenting financial and earned value management data to other functions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of earned value management metrics and impact on program financial management.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead EVM Lead; coordinate with program team leads and cost chiefs.
• Use Power BI to analyze data and update dashboards for stakeholders.
• Assess EVM data against IPMDAR and EVMS; propose corrective actions.
• Review EACs for accuracy and identify optimistic/pessimistic assumptions.
• Analyze Budget Change Requests and provide analysis per EVMS guidelines.
• Review EVT and applicability to control accounts and performance measurement.
• Forecast program contractor capability against contract targets and incentives.
• Scrutinize schedule baselines for critical path accuracy and DCMA standards.
• Support IBRs with risk identification across IMP/IMS.
• Deliver EVM training to IPTs and contracting teams.
• Coordinate with financial management to align funding with baselines.
• Serve as EVM liaison for audits, reviews, and data requests.
