Little Stars Therapy Services in Wichita, KS seeks an Autism Specialist to develop individualized treatment plans and lead caregiver training using ABA and other evidence-based strategies. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to assess progress and adjust care, ensuring family-centered services and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Autism Specialist certification through a program accepted by Little Stars, completed before the start date.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to seek, receive, and apply clinical feedback.
• A commitment to compassionate, ethical, family-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized care and design/implement treatment plans reflecting each client's strengths and goals in coordination with clinical leadership.
• Strengthen communication, independence, and participation in everyday activities using evidence-based strategies.
• Assess needs and monitor progress: conduct assigned assessments and observations, review data, and adjust plans.
• Partner with families: provide caregivers with practical tools and training for home and community learning.
• Coordinate care: collaborate with families, caregivers, and related professionals to support consistent treatment.
• Maintain clear documentation of services, progress, and updates.
• Continue learning: stay current with autism intervention practices and participate in professional development.
