Little Stars Therapy Services in Wichita, KS is seeking a Caregiver Support Specialist who builds strong relationships with families, supports them through intake and throughout ABA services.

You will manage a caseload of about 15–20 families, check in regularly, explain ABA concepts, and coordinate with BCBAs and staff to ensure consistent care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, special education, or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Empathy and sound judgment when supporting caregivers.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with a collaborative clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Connect with caregivers during intake and remain a consistent point of support as their child receives services.
• Manage an ongoing caseload, typically around 15-20 families.
• Check in with caregivers regularly to understand their concerns, answer questions, and identify where additional support may help.
• Help caregivers understand ABA principles and practice strategies that align with their child's treatment plan.
• Collaborate with BCBAs and therapy staff so caregiver support stays consistent with each client's individualized care.
• Plan caregiver meetings and community outings around client and family needs.
• Facilitate caregiver workshops, trainings, and group support sessions.
• Help families find and access community resources, and follow up to understand whether they received the support they needed.
• Document caregiver contacts, concerns, resources, and follow-up, and share relevant feedback with the clinical team.
