CORA Good Shepherd Mediation is currently seeking a Part Time Intake Specialist in its busy Eviction Diversion Program (EDP), to work on the front lines of the City of Philadelphia’s nationally recognized Eviction Diversion Program (EDP), which provides an opportunity for landlords and tenants to resolve residential rental disputes without going to court. CORA GSM processes 500-600 EDP applications (intakes) weekly and manages the mediation portion of the EDP.
To participate in EDP, landlords must submit a request on a City online portal outlining the circumstances of their intention to evict, along with tenant contact information and documentation to facilitate the diversion process. The major responsibilities of the EDP Intake Specialist are to review these landlord requests, provide guidance to landlords whose applications are rejected (usually for missing information), ensure applications receive the correct services based on their needs, and screen for fraudulent applications.
HOURS:
This is a part-time position, typically 15-20 hours per week, most of which must be during regular business hours (9 AM – 5 PM). Most work is remote, with required weekly virtual meetings and occasional in-person trainings and meetings at the CORA Services building in Fox Chase.
Starting Rate: $19.94 per hour
Rate increases based on experience and credentials.
