Job summary

Blue Plate Catering, LTD. is seeking an Event Staffing Coordinator to support the Senior Event Staffing Manager by coordinating FOH service and BOH culinary staffing for Blue Plate events.

You will export event data from CaterXpert into Nowsta and help ensure accurate staffing assignments and clear communication across teams. You’ll manage scheduling for small and large events, adjust staffing on short notice, and liaise with field teams, sales, HR, and agencies to ensure flawless execution.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in hospitality, staffing coordination, or event operations.

Responsibilities

• Export new events daily from CaterXpert into Nowsta and ensure staffing readiness.
• Support FOH service and BOH culinary staffing coordination with the Senior Staffing Manager.
• Independently manage scheduling for small events and assist with large-scale events.
• Assign staff based on skills, availability and event requirements; adjust as needed.
• Communicate schedule updates and staffing changes clearly to teams.
