Blue Plate Catering in Chicago is seeking an Event Server to help create memorable experiences at events. You will work under the guidance of the Guest Services team and event supervisors, performing setup, service, and breakdown with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.

The role requires prior customer service, English proficiency, and the ability to work evenings, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service work or volunteer experience required.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and in uniform, ready to assist at the venue.
• Check in with supervisor for tasks and assignments.
• Set up and service to meet event standards and guest expectations.
• Provide exceptional service and answer questions about the menu and event.
• Assist with breakdown and reset of venue after events.
• Work independently and as part of a team while following safety procedures.
