Job summary

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a Social and Catering Coordinator to support the sales and catering teams in planning, coordinating, and executing events, meetings, and banquets. The role requires front-of-house restaurant experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Have knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least one year of front-of-the-house restaurant experience and/or banquet/event positions.
• Proficient in using computer and phone skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and understand and carry out oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events, meetings, and banquets in collaboration with sales and catering teams.
• Prepare paperwork, contracts, schedules, and price sheets in a timely and organized manner.
• Negotiate final pricing and secure customer signatures; collect deposits as required.
• Document event specifications and ensure all function sheet details are followed during the event.
• Greet customers, supervise staff, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the event.
