Job summary

JACK Thistledown Racino in North Randall, OH seeks an Events & Promotions Representative to execute all promotions and events as directed by the Marketing Manager. You will prepare areas, assist patrons, staff registrations, balance and track gift cards and cash, and ensure materials are displayed and retrieved for each project.

The role requires strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills, the ability to work independently, and adaptability to varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge at an above proficient level.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling employee conflicts.
• Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; push/pull/reach/bend/twist.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares promotion areas for promotions and events.
• Executes promotions, assisting patrons participating in promotions.
• Staffs special event registration areas.
• Ensures promotions/event areas are stocked with supplies and decorations.
• Ensures collateral material is displayed and recovered for each project.
• Tracks inventories and expenses for each project.
• Maintains records, charts, and graphs of promotions on a monthly basis.
