Greenleaf Hospitality Group is seeking a seasoned Event Planner for Kalamazoo Event Center. You will guide clients from the sales handoff through planning, execution, billing, and post-event follow-up, coordinating with Banquets, Culinary, and Facilities to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in event planning or related management.
• Ability to independently manage client relationships and logistics.
• Experience planning meetings, conferences, weddings, or trade shows.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to lead cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the client’s primary planning partner from contracting to execution.
• Lead pre-planning meetings, provide recommendations on layouts, timelines, and services.
• Develop detailed event orders, diagrams, resumes, and timelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet the approved plan and budget.
• Provide on-site leadership during events and manage changes while protecting guest experience.
