Job summary

KNKX in Seattle seeks an Associate Events Manager to lead live, virtual, and hybrid events, manage a pool of volunteers, and collaborate with Marketing, Development, Digital, Engineering, News, Music, HR, and Finance. The role follows KNKX's hybrid policy with evenings and weekends required to support events.

You will create comprehensive project plans and production schedules, coordinate multiple projects, oversee on-site execution, negotiate contracts, and cultivate community partnerships to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of event management experience.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive project plans, production schedules, and timelines.
• Collaborate on all phases of event planning including concept development, scheduling, logistics, execution, and post-event evaluation.
• Facilitate collaborations with internal stakeholders, venues, artists, community organizations, and partners.
• Coordinate sponsorship activation with Business Support, Development, and Marketing teams.
• Lead on-site event management, directing vendors and volunteers to ensure successful execution.
