Job summary

ProSource in Golden, CO is seeking an Events and Marketing Support Specialist who will ensure smooth event operations and polished member communications. You will handle food and beverage planning, venue logistics, registration flows, and on‑site execution while supporting marketing tasks surrounding events.

You will work with the Director of Marketing and Events, coordinating with teams and vendors, and you may manage newsletters, social posts, and the member portal.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in events, marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related detail‑oriented field.
• Exceptional organizational skills and follow‑through; pride in a well‑managed checklist.
• Strong written communication skills with excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading ability.
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Pardot or comparable).
• Willingness to learn tools including Swoogo, Monday.com, Optimizely, Formstack, and Beefree.
• Experience creating and scheduling social media content across platforms.
• Comfort with the physical realities of event support: standing, errands, setup, and long event days.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning new software quickly.
• Discretion and professionalism with confidential information and vendor/member relationships.
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) are a plus.
• Willingness to work flexible hours around ProSource events, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own event food and beverage planning and execution, including venue communications and dietary considerations.
• Handle event logistics: hotel blocks, tickets, shuttle services, rentals, and local venue coordination.
• Build and manage event registration paths in Swoogo and draft pre/post event communications.
• Provide on‑site event support and live execution, including setup and clean‑up.
• Maintain project plans and checklists in Monday.com and track deadlines.
• Create and schedule weekly newsletters using Pardot and Beefree.
• Develop social media posts and manage the social calendar around events.
• Maintain the ProSource member portal content and resources.
• Support broader marketing and communications tasks and vendor relationships.
• Uphold standards of professional, clear, and timely communications.
