Wander in Austin, TX is seeking an Events Marketer to own Wander and WanderOS events from strategy through follow-up. You will plan and run our presence at industry conferences, host field events, and ensure events convert to real pipeline for the sales team.

You will partner with sales, marketing, and the creative team to deliver thoughtful events, manage budgets, and travel regularly to on-site venues.

About The Role

We're hiring an Events Marketer to own Wander and WanderOS events from strategy through follow-up.

Events are one of the most important ways we meet vacation rental and hospitality operators. You'll plan and run our presence at industry conferences and trade shows, host our own field events and customer gatherings, and make sure every event turns into real pipeline and relationships for the sales team. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and our creative team to deliver events that feel as thoughtful as the stays we offer.

Location: Austin, TX.

What You'll Own

• Build and manage the annual events calendar across industry conferences, trade shows, and Wander-hosted events.


• Run event logistics end to end: vendors, booths, venues, travel, shipping, and on-site execution.


• Plan and host field events, dinners, and customer gatherings for prospects and partners.


• Partner with sales on pre-event outreach, meeting booking, and post-event follow-up.


• Work with creative on booth design, signage, swag, and event content.


• Manage event budgets and vendor relationships.


• Track and report on event results: attendance, meetings, pipeline, and ROI.


• Build repeatable playbooks so every event runs smoothly.

Required

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of event marketing or field marketing experience, ideally in B2B software.


• A track record of planning and running trade shows, conferences, and hosted events.


• Strong project management and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle many events at once.


• Experience managing budgets and vendors.


• Comfort partnering with sales and tying events to pipeline.


• Excellent communication and a calm, solutions-oriented presence on site.


• Willingness to travel regularly for events.


• Comfort with AI tools to move faster on planning, content, and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience in travel, hospitality, vacation rentals, or property management.


• Relationships with vendors and organizers in the vacation rental or hospitality industry.


• Experience with event and marketing tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
