The Omaha Marriott Downtown at the Capitol District is seeking an Events Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences through proactive event planning, client liaison, and flawless execution. You will coordinate with clients, sales and operations to ensure accurate documentation, timely updates, and successful events.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills for guests and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Marriott systems is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and guests throughout event planning.
• Coordinate event details with clients, document changes, and maintain timely updates.
• Prepare and distribute event documentation such as BEOs and client correspondence.
• Maintain event management and sales systems with accurate records.
• Act as liaison between clients, sales managers, and operations for flawless events.
• Assist in planning and booking meetings and revenue-generating opportunities.
