Clyde's Restaurant Group is seeking an Events Manager for The Hamilton in Washington, DC. The role focuses on coordinating private events, creating proposals, and managing vendor orders to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience executing events (required).
• Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work some weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone or email inquiries with excellent service.
• Create and revise event proposals.
• Assemble private event packets with layouts and details.
• Assist with final guest counts and vendor orders.
• Ensure contracts are approved and confirmed by the client.
• Prepare invoices with Accounting and monitor billing details.
• Coordinate with Private Events Manager on client communications.
• Assist with set-up, day-of coordination, site visits, and events.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN EVENTS MANAGER

• Provide excellent customer service in responding to phone or email inquiries
• Assist with creating and revising event proposals
• Assemble private event packets including layouts, details, and other supporting documents
• Assist with final guest counts
• Submit and monitor vendor orders for required materials and supplies
• Ensure all contracts are approved and confirmed by the client prior to the event
• Verify billing information and assist with preparing invoices to submit to Accounting
• Coordinate regularly with the Private Events Manager regarding any client communication
• Assist with the set-up and layout of event space
• Assist with day-of coordination as needed
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and events as needed
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
