Core Functions :
Creativity & Ideation: Ideate, design, and bring to life immersive event experiences for The Krewe that embody our mission, brand vision, and pillars. This position will serve as a creative and strategic force—crafting events that not only captivate our community but also amplify our cultural relevance and brand story.
Lead Event Strategy & Execution : Oversee the creative development, strategic planning, and execution of Buccaneers-managed events, including high-profile corporate events, game day experiences, and entertainment activations.
Stakeholder Collaboration : Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments and external partners, ensuring that event concepts align with organizational goals and exceed stakeholder expectations.
Cross-Departmental Leadership : Collaborate with key departments within the organization, stadium partners and vendors to ensure cohesive planning and execution of all event elements.
Guest Experience Oversight : Champion the guest and fan experience at each event, managing every detail through a customer-centric lens to deliver engaging, memorable experiences.
Project & Timeline Management : Manage all phases of the event lifecycle—from ideation to execution—ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met with precision.
Budget Ownership : Develop, manage, and reconcile event budgets; oversee financial forecasting, vendor payments, and cost control measures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Vendor & Contract Management : Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships, including entertainment agencies, décor companies, A/V providers, and caterers, ensuring quality and reliability.
Event Staffing & Leadership : Lead internal and part-time event staff (Krewe), assigning roles, supervising execution, and ensuring consistent team performance and professionalism.
Logistics & Infrastructure Management : Direct all logistical aspects of events, including safety, permitting, parking, transportation, first aid, tenting, signage, and site layouts.
Executive & VIP Briefings : Coordinate and deliver detailed event briefings for executives, players, coaches, alumni, and VIP guests, ensuring clarity and preparedness.
Post-Event Analysis : Conduct comprehensive event debriefs to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and document learnings for future events.
Gameday Experience : Oversee elements of entertainment on game days, including fan zones such as Bucs Beach, Bucsparilla, and other interactive experiences.
Event Systems & Tools : Maintain and optimize use of event management software and tools, ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and file organization.
Drive Innovation : Lead the ideation and rollout of new event concepts that enhance brand value and foster breakthrough fan and client engagement.
Team Mentorship : Guide and support Event & Entertainment Coordinators, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with department standards and objectives.
Compliance & Brand Alignment : Ensure all events comply with company policies, legal requirements, and brand strategy while meeting budgetary and operational goals.
Departmental Support : Contribute to overall department operations, including budget management, reporting, and cross-functional initiatives as needed.
