Job summary

Eataly Houston is seeking an Events and Education Lead for their new store opening. The ideal candidate will execute and manage both public and private events, while passionately engaging guests in Italian food culture.

This full-time position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities include setup for classes and events, supporting the culinary team, and ensuring a memorable guest experience through your coordination and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in restaurant operations, sales management, marketing or event planning.
• Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
• Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Italian wine and gastronomy.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules and executes public and private events including specialized classes.
• Support the Chef during scheduled classes and events.
• Setup dining area with the proper materials based on event format.
• Prepare La Scuola workstations with all ingredients and necessary equipment.
• Serve meal prepared by Chef during events.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen area after events.
• Execute side work and closing duties as required.
• Help with storage organization and other projects or duties.
• Writes and monitors class descriptions and creates class registration pages.
• Builds and manages client lists and relationships.
