Job summary

Textron is offering a 2027 internship for a Customer Experience (Events Associate) based in Wichita, KS. You’ll assist the manager to coordinate and support details surrounding Textron Aviation’s presence at customer events, trade shows, and industry gatherings to ensure the brand is well represented.

The program is paid and full-time for ten weeks, with mentorship, training, and real project work that develops skills in event planning, vendor negotiations, reporting, and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of the Business Aviation Industry.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and manage multiple sources of direction.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lead internal teams, external vendors, and leaders for campaigns.
• Action oriented with opportunistic mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support details for Textron Aviation events and trade shows.
• Plan, travel to, and implement shows domestically and internationally.
• Negotiate with vendors to meet Textron Aviation needs.
• Organize event details including travel and accommodation for leadership.
• Interact with customers before, during, and after events.
• Create pre- and post-event reports with qualitative and quantitative data.
