Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking an Events Associate to support planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale internal and client events across the enterprise.

You will assist with groundbreakings, openings, tours, and sponsorships, driving on-time, high-quality experiences. The role requires strong organization, communication, and collaboration with marketing and operations teams; travel and some evenings/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, hospitality, communications, project administration, or related field.
• Strong organizational and task-management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; polished, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the Events Manager in planning and executing internal and client events.
• Deliver groundbreakings, openings, tours, and other event experiences.
• Create event briefs, timelines, checklists, and planning files.
• Coordinate logistics: registration, guest lists, invitations, signage, and materials.
• Manage RSVP tracking, attendee communications, and attendance reports.
• Assist with budgets, invoices, and expense tracking; ensure on-site execution.
