Job summary

The Sanderling seeks a Catering Manager to lead event bookings and client relations, ensuring guest satisfaction while supporting profitability. You’ll work closely with the Director of Catering and ops teams to deliver seamless, high-quality events reflecting our resort standards.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and hospitality mindset, with experience in catering or hotel operations and proficiency in standard office software.

Qualifications

• College degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years of hospitality, catering, events, or hotel operations experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service and event planning is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries and convert them into confirmed events.
• Maintain relationships with clients and event planners.
• Coordinate event logistics with Banquets, Culinary, AV, and vendors.
• Prepare catering contracts, proposals, and BEOs.
• Ensure event details comply with resort policies and guest expectations.
• Support revenue growth by attracting new market segments.
