Hy-Vee is seeking a Catering Coordinator for the Market Grille who will own the full catering experience—from meeting with customers and writing detailed orders to coordinating across kitchen, bakery, and deli for smooth events.

Starting wage is $15.50–$19.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–3 years related experience.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage pricing, invoicing, and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Meet with customers to understand catering needs, write detailed orders, and coordinate across departments.
• Coordinate across kitchen, bakery, and deli for events.
• Set and uphold department standards for service, cleanliness, and profitability.
• Develop and maintain standard catering practices; conduct quality checks.
• Organize store shows and events, including bridal and holiday shows.
• Ensure proper temperatures and storage; manage inventory and shrink.
