Augusta Country Club in Augusta, GA is seeking a Banquet Manager to lead private events, weddings, and corporate gatherings. You will supervise, coordinate, and participate in all banquet operations, ensuring flawless service and high guest satisfaction.

The role requires a high school diploma with 4 years in event management or a 4-year degree with 2 years in related areas; the position offers a starting salary of $65,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 4 years’ experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area.
• 4-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years’ experience in the event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate, and participate in private events and banquets.
• Execute event orders and ensure proper setup of rooms and ballroom for banquets, meetings, and other functions.
• Coordinate food and beverage service for events and work with Event Planners, Assistant GM, and Executive Chef.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, and lead banquet teams; conduct monthly department meetings.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and address member/guest feedback and issues.
