Job summary

Augusta Country Club in Augusta, GA is seeking part-time banquet servers to deliver high-quality service at club events. Servers will set up for events, carry trays, serve guests, and clean up at the event’s conclusion, while staying active on their feet throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates are customer-service oriented, dependable, polite, and able to interact with members professionally. Shifts vary by event, with AM and PM windows and potential weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Strong communication and listening skills to effectively communicate with co-workers and membership/guests.
• Clean all banquet equipment at the end of the function or as directed.
• Assist in moving tables and chairs as requested.
• Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performs clean-up and closing duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Attends line-up as directed by supervisor.
• Check out with manager.
• Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating them.
• Pours and refills wine, coffee, water and other beverages served with and after the meal.
• Clears soiled dishes as needed.
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Banquet Captain.

Job Details: Job Location: Augusta Country Club - Augusta, GA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Restaurant - Food Service, Augusta Country Club is a privately owned club with golf, tennis, fitness, and swim facilities in Augusta, GA. We are currently seeking servers that can create a positive, memorable experience for members and their guests. The ideal candidates will be customer service oriented, attentive, polite, courteous and able to interact with members in a professional manner. Dependability is a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for providing the highest quality of services to all guests for any event held within the club facilities. Banquet servers set up for events, carry trays, serve guests, and clean up at the event's conclusion. Set up can include putting out tablecloths and place settings, arranging table placement and putting up a buffet. Duties during the event can vary based on the situation, but, in general, they must be able to focus on the job while staying on their feet and moving about freely, which can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous repetitive motions.
• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.

Looking for part-time workers to fill either AM or PM shifts. Shifts may vary based on event specifics. AM shift can range from 6am - 4pm, and PM shift can range from 3pm - 11pm on weekdays and 2am on weekends.
